Thank You, Nairobi

The Nairobi Ecosystem Sherehe Was a Vibe!!

Hello,

Wow!! We’re still reliving the moments from this past Saturday in Nairobi and what a Sherehe it was! In partnership with our friends at Betrworkr who make it easy for startups and scaleups to hire, pay and support talent anywhere in the world seamlessly, we brought together hundreds of founders, investors, creatives and builders across the city and beyond!

The energy in the room was incredible! From inspiring conversations to games, music and new friendships, it was clear that when Africans come together, big things happen.

We’re deeply grateful to everyone who joined us in-person and for those who couldn’t, we hope these highlights give you a feel of the energy in the room. This event reminds us that Africa is ready for bigger, bolder collaborations that drive real ownership and wealth back to the continent.

Partners Who Made It Possible!

This Sherehe wouldn’t have been possible without our incredible partners and sponsors standing with us:

  • Fincra, African Angel Academy & Jenzy showed their belief in Africa’s growing investment ecosystem by financially supporting this event.

  • Uncover Skincare got everyone excited with amazing gifts during our games.

  • Community Partners: Jasiri Network & ABAN strengthened the ties across Africa’s angel and founder communities.

  • HoaQ, an active collective on Borderless you can join today, Check them out here.

  • Diaspora House, a real estate investment collective offers shortlets for Africans in Nairobi. Book at stay here

When partners like these stand with Borderless, it shows the strength of the movement we’re building together.

While we had so much fun on Saturday, the event showed much more impact in Africa with:

  • New collectives forming.

  • Diaspora and local collaboration deepening.

  • Capital flowing back to Africa with structure and vision

It’s exactly what we set out to build at Borderless. And the world is noticing, we were featured on Forbes a few weeks ago. Read the Article Here
